710 Student Ministries
Welcome to 710 Student ministries, the student ministries branch of Temple Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Univeristy Place. Some might think it strange that two churches share a youth ministry. However, we believe that God has given our churches a special oportunity to work together to accomplish ministries that would not otherwise be possible. By working together we have the leadership, resources, and students necessary to provide specialized ministry programming for Jr. High, Sr. High and young adults.

Our mission is to glorify God by developing maturing disciples of Jesus Christ. We desire to see young people coming to know Christ and continuing to grow in their relationship with Him. We want to see young people serving God in the work of the ministry, both within and outside the walls of the church. Ultimately, we want to see young people growing into adults who love Jesus and continue to remain faithful to Him and His Church. Our programming and leadership reflect and are evaluated against this mission.
Jr. High
Students attending Jr. High have unique needs pertaining to spiritual growth and development. Our Jr. High program is designed to meet those needs. The group meets on Wednesday Nights from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the "Garage" at First Baptist Church in University Place. The time typically consists of hanging out, group games, a relevant Bible lesson, and small groups. Jr. High is open to students in 6th-9th grades.

Young Adults
Our young adult program attempts to create a bridge between high school and post-high school life. The gathering is open to all ages. Our main group gathering is held on Wednesday nights from 7:10 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church. The time typically consists of fellowship, worship through song, and preaching from God's Word.
