Temple Baptist Church is a Family of Disciples on Mission for Christ. We are a family because God has chosen us and made us part of His family. We are disciples of Jesus Christ because He loves us and we know His will to be the greatest good. We are on Mission for Christ because He wants us to teach everyone to be obedient to Him through faith.

4,000 years ago God demonstrated His amazing grace in the life an undeserving man, and that man became an example for all, that righteousness before God comes only through faith. According to the apostle Paul the preaching of the gospel didn't begin with Jesus, but with Abraham: "the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, 'In you all the nations shall be blessed.'" (Gal. 3:8). In Hebrews 11:6 we're told, "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."
