Mike Roberts
Pastor/Teacher
Mike Roberts has been serving as Pastor of TBC since October 2005. Pastor Mike received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio and his Masters of Divinity degree from Northwest Baptist Seminary in Tacoma, Washington.
Prior to serving at TBC, Mike pastored for 10 years in Colville, Washington. Mike enjoys snow skiing, rock climbing, golfing, making lattes (a coffee hobby), and spending time with his family. Mike's passion is to preach God's word and walk alongside others in the discipleship process.
Mike and his wife MaryAnn were married in August 1988. MaryAnn grew up in Kennewick, Washington and is actively involved in ministry at TBC. MaryAnn is a "stay at home" mom who enjoys shopping, drinking Mike's lattes, watching college basketball, quilting, reading, organizing, volunteering in their kids' classrooms and spending time with friends and family.
Mike and MaryAnn have two children, a son Joel who is 9 and a daughter Kaylee who is 7. Joel & Kaylee enjoy playing soccer, x-box and being with their family for family nights.
Brad McCain,
Associate Pastor of Worship and Outreach
Brad McCain has served in local church ministry since 1989. Most recently he served as the Pastor and Church Planter of FaithPointe Baptist Church in Norman, OK, which began in his home in April of 2004. He has recently been commissioned by FaithPointe and he and his family are moving to DuPont, WA to begin a new church, CenterPointe.
Brad is serving in the part-time role of Associate Pastor at Temple Baptist, using his gifts and experience as a worship leader and an administrator, while planting CenterPointe. This unique ministry model (serving in one church, while beginning another) is one we hope to see duplicated in years to come, resulting in more churches planted in the Northwest.
Brad and his wife, Shelly, were married in June of 1991. They have been blessed with three children from South Korea through the process of adoption.
Becki Schultz
Office Administrator
Becki Schultz has been serving as Office Administrator since 199?. Becki grew up in Southern California and has spent the last ?? years in Tacoma, Washington. She desires to see TBC be a place where every member is a minister.
Becki is involved in various ministries of TBC, including leading a ladies Bible study group, Awana, media ministry, and various other ministries. She is the mother of five (four daughters & one son). She is also nana to one granddaughter. She enjoys reading, coffee and spending time with family.
Jon Schultz
Facility Supervisor
Jon Schultz has been serving as Facilities Supervisor since August 2007. Jon grew up in Tacoma, Washington and attended Shasta Bible College where he took several Bible classes. He hopes to complete his degree here in Washington State and pursue a master's degree in ministry.
Jon is involved in youth ministry, worship, Awana, and other ministries at TBC. He enjoys being with Jr. Highers, reaching out to others and spending time with family.
