Outrigger Island - August 11-15

Every evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Calling all teens and adults. We need volunteers to help with Vacation Bible School. See below for ways you can help.

Pre-registration is happening now. Use the sign-up form to get your kids ready for Outrigger Island.

Wave 1- Pray Every day from now until August 15, you can pray: As many children as possible can attend VBS While attending VBS, children learn the Truth While attending VBS, children accept Jesus as their savior We have enough workers and supplies For the health and safety of workers and children Children who attend VBS will want to come back for AWANA or church services and bring their families
Wave 2 - Volunteer to be a worker. We need:
Island Guides - 8 to 10 people needed Share the love of Christ through their actions and words Guide kids to and from each VBS station Help kids stay on task Assist workers at each location if needed Sit with kids at Worship Rally Bible Study Beach Hut Leader - 1 or 2 people needed Responsible for teaching the Bible study lesson for each age group as they rotate through the Beach Hut. (Curriculum is provided)	Craft Cabana Leader - 2 people needed Sets up crafts Explains and assists with craft making Clean up craft area All crafts will be prepared and require no planning Snack Shack Leader - 3 people needed Prepare and servee simple snacks clean up No planning needed, all food will be on hand Recreation Reef Leader Lead games Some planning required, ideas and equipment available Music Falls Leader Learn and lead VBS songs during opening and closing worship times. May require attending a practice session.
Wave 3 - Donate Supplies See sign-up sheet at the Info Booth. Needed items are: Popcorn seeds - 4 bags Air Poppers - will be returned Costco-sized boxes of Goldfish crackers - 5 boxes Costco-sized bag of pretzels - 2 bags Apples, oranges, bananas for 60 kids Vanilla ice cream - 10 gallons Ice cream toppings Packages of Jello - 10 boxes Lemonade powdered mix - 3 cans Graham Crackers - 8 boxes Candy - Individually packaged - A lot
Wave 4 - Advertise We need peopple to invite kids ages 5 to 12 to VBS. Invite your neighbors, relatives, children of co-workers and anyone else you can think of! Find flyers at the info desk with more information or download the registration form and send it in or drop it off at the church.
Wave 5 - Give money We are committed to providing free VBS to any child who wants to come. If you would like to donate moeny toward the cost of VBS, you can either designate your funds in the offering or donate money in the church office.
